Jensen Laundry Systems Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Service Technician to install, commission and service heavy-duty laundry equipment, including AI-enabled systems. The role involves travel to job sites around Australia and interstate with a base in the Melbourne metro area.

You will report to the Service Manager and perform breakdown diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance, with overtime and travel required. A trade certificate and valid C/LC are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical trade qualification required.
• Current drivers licence.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adhere to safety policies.

Job Description

Our Company: A leading global manufacturer of heavy-duty laundry equipment, offering a one stop shop for all processing requirements. An opportunity has now become available for an Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering Trades Person to join as a Service Technician.

The position will be based in Melbourne Metro Area (home based) with travel required to job sites within Greater Brisbane including interstate .

The position: In this challenging role you will report to the Service Manager. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Installation and commissioning of industrial laundry equipment including machinery that utilizes AI and hydraulics, pneumatics. Attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform repairs. Provide reactive and preventative maintenance.

Key requirements: An Electrical/Mechanical Trade Certificate 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices will be considered A current drivers licence Have well developed interpersonal skills and be a team player

Understand the importance of Health & Safety compliance on work site and adhere to the company's Health & Safety policies and practises Experience in heavy industrial machinery is desirable Must be able to work under pressure and deliver results

Must be prepared to work overtime and occasionally on weekends Must be prepared to travel Australia wide occasionally Remuneration and benefits - Gross Annual Salary of $85,000 - $95,000 plus paid overtime rates A fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance Company mobile phone, laptop/ipad and tools
