Job summary

Seeley International, Australia’s leading climate control innovator, seeks a qualified Service Technician to service and repair a wide range of Seeley products in homes and businesses. You will carry out warranty and chargeable service calls with autonomy, across gas ducted heating, evaporative cooling and reverse cycle systems.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will deliver a professional customer experience, manage van stock, advise on repairs, and maintain safety and quality standards on

• Construction induction (White) card or willingness to obtain.

About the role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will safely and competently service and repair a wide range of Seeley products in homes and businesses - gas ducted heating, evaporative cooling and reverse cycle systems - while maintaining industry standards and a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair Seeley International products across residential and commercial sites.
• Complete allocated warranty and chargeable service calls within agreed timeframes, aiming to resolve on the first visit.
• Deliver a professional customer experience at every visit, including a neat presentation and clean vehicle.
• Report job outcomes accurately so that the administration team can close jobs without follow-up.
• Manage van stock of parts and equipment to keep the right parts on board.
• Advise customers, administration and management on the best course of action for a repair, including warranty eligibility.
• Always Work safely and escape difficult or potentially unsafe jobs.

About you

• A recognised trade qualification - plumber/gasfitter, electrician or refrigeration mechanic.
• Construction induction (White) card, or willingness to obtain.
• Sound diagnostic and problem‑solving ability, and basic computer skills.
• Clear communication, strong time management and the ability to work independently.

Highly regarded

• Experience servicing, installing or repairing HVAC equipment in the field.
• Restricted electrical licence.

Working conditions

This role involves working in and around heating and cooling equipment, including on rooftops, in ceiling spaces, under floors, in plant rooms and inside customers’ homes. A pre‑employment is required to be successful.
