Job summary

Rheinmetall Defence Australia – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Service & Support Manager (Operations) for Digital Systems to lead a technical team delivering maintenance, repair and support for Land 400 Phase 2 Boxer CRV digital systems across Australia.

You will drive equipment availability, customer outcomes and continuous improvement, build strong Defence customer relationships, and establish the processes that keep critical capability mission-ready.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Electronics (Trade or Tertiary).
• Previous experience in Defence environment or industry.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to travel interstate or overseas when required.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).

Service & Support Manager (Operations) – Digital Systems

Rheinmetall Defence Australia – Brisbane QLD

Join our close-knit Digital Systems (DYS) team and play a key role in supporting one of Australia’s largest defence programs, LAND 400 Phase 2, with opportunities to contribute across future Rheinmetall projects. Our Team delivers innovative electronic products that support mission success which is a combination of simulation and training systems and electronic components for the Boxer vehicle. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your career in a collaborative and growing team.

About the Role

As the Service & Support Manager – Digital Systems, you’ll lead a team of technical specialist delivering maintenance, repair and support for Land 400 Phase 2 Boxer CRV digital systems.

Working across Australia, you’ll drive equipment availability, customer outcomes and continuous improvement, balancing technical, commercial and operational priorities. You’ll lead from the front, build strong relationships with Defence customers and establish the systems and processes that keep critical capability mission-ready.
