Job summary

Locum People client, a high quality multinational power tools manufacturer and distributor based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, seeks an experienced hands-on Service Supervisor to lead a small team of skilled service technicians.

You will deliver industry-leading service and repairs to retailers and end-users, with prompt warranty assessment and quality repairs as a core goal in a fast-moving market. Strong electromechanical experience and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced electromechanical technician with a flare for problem solving and solid experience of repairs to power tools and related equipment.
• Skilled communicator who can explain repairs and processes to end users, dealers and colleagues.
• Mentor who can develop the team’s skills and knowledge.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small workshop team to deliver industry-leading customer service and repairs to retailers and end-users.
• Oversee prompt warranty assessment and quality repairs as a key strategic initiative.

Our client is high quality multinational power tools manufacturer and distributor based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. They are now seeking an experienced hands-on Service Supervisor to lead a small team of skilled service technicians.

Your new role will see you lead a small workshop team to deliver industry-leading customer service and repairs to both our client's retailers and end-users. Prompt warranty assessment and quality repairs are a key strategic initiative that will both attract and keep customers in a fast moving competitive market. As such your role will be a key factor in our client's ongoing success.

You are an experienced electromechanical technician with a flare for problem solving and solid experience of repairs to power tools and related or similar equipment. You are also a skilled communicator who can explain repairs and processes to end users, dealers and colleagues. As a mentor you know how to take your team under your wings and build their skills and knowledge. You have excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel.
