Elephants Foot Service and Care Pty Ltd – Bankstown NSW is seeking a skilled field service supervisor to lead on-site maintenance of chute systems and waste handling equipment across multi-unit developments. You will oversee technicians and subcontractors, coordinate field operations, and provide hands-on support in the field.

Role requires a mechanical trades background with electrical awareness; on-call emergency readiness and a proactive, professional approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades background required; electrical trade or restricted electrical license highly regarded.
• Licenses include electrical or restricted electrical license; construction induction card required.
• Unrestricted drivers license and ability to operate manual vehicles; COVID-19 vaccination and booster as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate field service operations delivered through technicians and subcontractors.
• Supervise the team of field service technicians providing onsite support, maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate on-site service activities and liaise with the department manager in the field.
• Manage on-call emergency service as required and maintain communication with management.
• Read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams and electromechanical systems.

ElephantsFoot Serviceand Care is currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced field service technician to join our high performing team.Backed by over 40 years' experience in the waste equipment industry, we are a national market and industry leader in the service and maintenance of chute systems and waste handling equipment acrossmulti-unit residential complex's, hotels, and other developments.

About the role

As an ElephantsFoot ServiceSupervisor, you will perform a broad and varied scope of work to meet, support and service the needs of our customers. With no two days the same, your responsible for overseeing and coordinating field service operations delivered through a combination of direct technicians and subcontractors. This is a hands‑on role, which also involves supervising the team of field service technicians who provide onsite support, maintenance, and repairs to customers or clients.

Requirements to succeed

Mechanical Trades background and experience. Electrical trade or restricted electrical license will be highly regarded noting this role is 70% mechanical

Ability to manage on-call emergency service as required and maintain communication with the department manager while in the field.

High degree of professionalism, as you will be representing our company on the ground

Ability to work well as a part of a team and show initiative in all unsupervised activities

Understanding of mechanical and basic electrical and hydraulic systems, installations and processes

The ability to read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams and electromechanical systems

Ability to managevarying project/field conditions with the confidence to make decisions to solve problems and changes onsite

Willingness to get dirty with a hands‑on approach

Electrical Fitter/Electrician with mechanical experience. Mechanical Trade i.e. Fitter and Turner (boiler makers and mechanical considered)

Electrical license or Restricted electrical license considered

A construction general induction card, e.g. white card or blue card

COVID-19 vaccination (and booster)

A current unrestricted drivers' license with the confidence and ability to operate manual vehicles and have a good clean driving record
