Job summary

Suncorp Group is seeking a Service Specialist to support the Core Data Platform, enabling analytics, reporting and business insights across the enterprise. You will focus on improving service stability, resolving incidents and driving continuous improvement while collaborating with platform teams and partners to deliver reliable data services.

Based in Australia with hybrid options, you will monitor performance, contribute to automation, document knowledge, and help scale data pipelines to

Qualifications

• Experience working in service delivery or platform support roles within enterprise environments.
• Understanding of data platforms and concepts such as data pipelines, warehouses and data lifecycle processes.
• Experience managing incidents and contributing to service improvements and operational stability.
• Experience with tools such as Databricks, AWS Redshift, Power BI, Fivetran (HVR and SaaS) and data integration platforms for monitoring and support activities.
• Understanding of data warehouse and data lake concepts, including structured vs unstructured data storage and usage patterns
• Understanding of batch data processing, scheduling, and dependencies across data workflows

About The Role
