Job summary

Schneider Electric in Melbourne is seeking experienced Service Representatives to perform a variety of field service tasks across the Melbourne area and broader VIC region. You will play a hands-on role supporting a diverse customer portfolio, minimising downtime and maximising reliability, with high-quality training and ongoing development.

Our ideal candidate will have Certificate III Airconditioning and Refrigeration, a current driver's license with a vehicle supplied, and proven ability to

Qualifications

  • Certificate III Airconditioning and Refrigeration is required.
  • Current Driver's Licence are required; Tool of Trade vehicle provided.
  • Previous experience in Field Service or Maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and work autonomously when needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to HS&E and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of field service tasks across Melbourne and wider VIC region.
  • Coordinate and execute installations, maintenance, repairs and ad-hoc tasks with technical teams.
  • Commissioning, site testing and system upgrades; troubleshoot as needed.
  • Provide technical support and expert advice to customers.
  • Document service activities, reports and inventory; manage documentation.

The Team

Our Services team provides 24/7 servicing for: hospitals, utilities, data centers and just about everything in-between. Our team is growing and we are currently seeking experienced Service Representatives to be based in Melbourne where you will play a hands‑on role to perform a variety of field service tasks in support of a diverse range of expanding Customer assets.

This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
  • Completing a variety of field service tasks across the Melbourne area and broader VIC region
  • Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex; installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad‑hoc tasks
  • Commissioning, site testing, system upgrades and ad‑hoc troubleshooting
  • Providing technical support and specialist advice to a broad Customer base
  • Acting as a role model in relation to relevant HS&E requirements and adhere to other internal processes
  • Documenting service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory management
  • Identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess:
  • Certificate III Airconditioning and Refrigeration
  • Current Drivers License (we supply a Tool of Trade Vehicle!)
  • Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance position
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required
  • A technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is engaged in new technologies
  • Well‑developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem‑solver / trouble‑shooter
  • Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
  • Those with Electrical Licence or Refrigeration Handling Licence will be viewed favourably
