Job summary

Cleanaway Careers in Canberra, ACT is seeking a dedicated service driver to operate company trucks, service parts washers, and manage waste drums at customer sites.

You will complete task documentation on a mobile device, maintain safety and customer service standards, and accommodate early starts with occasional overtime. Full training and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• MR licence required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work away 1–2 nights per fortnight with provided accommodation and meals.
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Excellent customer service and safety mindset.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck to customer sites to service parts washers and spray gun machines.
• Pickup of waste streams in 20L, 60L, 205L drums and 660L bins.
• Complete service documentation using mobile devices.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Be prepared for early starts and overtime when required.

• Permanent - Full-time position – Canberra, ACT
• Day shift Monday – Friday (early morning starts 5-6 am)
• $35 an hour + penalties for all overtime
• Full training and company uniforms provided

The Opportunity

• Driving company Truck to customer sites to provide a service where you will be required to maintain and clean parts washers, solvent sinks, turbo washers, and spray gun machines.
• Pick up of multiple waste streams in 20ltrDrums – 60ltrDrums– 205ltr drums and 660ltr bins.
• Completion of service documentation using a technological device such as mobile phone apps
• Ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to start early and work overtime as required

About You

• Minimum MR licence required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work away 1-2 nights per fortnight (Accommodation and meals provided)
• Be fit and healthy and able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Excellent customer service ethic and commitment to safety
• Good verbal and written communication skills
