Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a dedicated driver/operator for Canberra, ACT. The role involves driving a company truck to customer sites, maintaining and cleaning parts washers and spray gun machines, and handling multiple waste streams.

You will complete service documentation on a mobile app and support high levels of customer satisfaction. The position is permanent full-time, with day shifts from Monday to Friday, early starts, and allowances for overtime.

Qualifications

• MR licence required and valid.
• Strong customer service and safety focus.
• Willing to stay away 1-2 nights per fortnight with accommodation provided.
• Pre-employment medical clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck to customer sites for washers and spray gun machines.
• Handle waste drums (20L, 60L, 205L, 660L) and associated tasks.
• Complete service documentation via mobile apps.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Start early and work overtime when required.

The Opportunity

• Driving company Truck to customer sites to provide a service where you will be required to maintain and clean parts washers, solvent sinks, turbo washers, and spray gun machines.
• Pick up of multiple waste streams in 20ltrDrums – 60ltrDrums– 205ltr drums and 660ltr bins.
• Completion of service documentation using a technological device such as mobile phone apps
• Ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to start early and work overtime as required

About You

• Minimum MR licence required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work away 1-2 nights per fortnight (Accommodation and meals provided)
• Be fit and healthy and able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Excellent customer service ethic and commitment to safety
• Good verbal and written communication skills
