Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking experienced Service Persons for our Middlemount Mine maintenance crew on a permanent full-time, 7/7 roster. DIDO/BIBO from Mackay/Rockhampton, camp accommodation, meals, PPE provided, and a supportive team culture.

Reporting to the maintenance team, you will service and maintain equipment, conduct inspections, and assist with workshop tasks to keep the fleet operating safely. Ideal candidates will hold RIISAM212D, a current HR licence, and meet Safety and Coal Board

Qualifications

• RIISAM212D - Service Mine Plant and Equipment.
• Current HR Driver's Licence.
• Standards 11 and Coal Board Medical, or ability to obtain.
• Experience servicing heavy mining or earthmoving equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures.
• Reliable attitude with team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily servicing activities across a busy mining operation.
• Operate service vehicles, refuel and maintain equipment.
• Complete inspections and assist with workshop support tasks.

MacKellar are currently looking for experienced Service Persons to become part of our high-performing maintenance crew at Middlemount Mine. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working a 7/7 roster across rotating days and nights, with the backing of a long-standing mining contract and a strong future pipeline of work.

About the Role

Duties will include operating service vehicles, refuelling and maintaining equipment, completing inspections, and assisting with workshop support tasks to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.
