Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Person for remote civil construction projects across FIFO South Australian locations. The role covers operation and minor maintenance of large earthmoving equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, graders and dump trucks, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Candidates with a Light Vehicle or Mechanical Trade background who want to grow into FIFO roles are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence required
• Construction White Card required
• Trade qualification or experience in role requiring mechanical aptitude highly desirable
• Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment desirable
• Physically fit and healthy
• Previous heavy plant operating experience desirable
• Proven commitment to health and safety
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
• Personal drive and results orientated

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform minor preventative maintenance on large heavy earthmoving equipment
• Work across FIFO civil construction projects in South Australia

Exact Contracting is seeking a Service Person for our remote civil construction projects across FIFO South Australian locations.

The position of a Service Person is responsible for the operation and minor preventative maintenance and repairs of large heavy earth moving equipment including, but not limited to, dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, dump trucks, etc.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a Light Vehicle or Mechanical Trade qualifications looking to expand their skills andstep up into a FIFO role, or a person with previous experience in a similar role.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Heavy Rigid (HR)Drivers Licence (required);

• Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment (desirable);
