Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Ryde seeks a Service Manager to lead a large Outside School Hours Care service, focusing on strategic leadership, staff development and delivering high-quality programs for children.

You will coach coordinators and educators, ensure National Quality Framework compliance, manage budgets and enrolments, and build partnerships with families and schools while preparing for Assessment & Rating.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an OSHC or Early Childhood service.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
• Drive high-quality educational programs and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor ensuring NQF compliance.
• Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the community.
• Manage service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments and workforce planning.
• Prepare the service for Assessment & Rating and maintain high-quality standards.
• Foster a positive, values-driven team culture that supports growth.

Smalls Road OSHClub in Ryde is seeking a Service Manager to lead a large, established Outside School Hours Care service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who enjoys developing people, driving service quality and creating engaging programs for children.

Unlike many leadership roles, you'll receive 32.5 hours per week of dedicated out of ratio administration time , allowing you to focus on strategic leadership while remaining connected to your team through approximately 5.5 hours of in-ratio time .

About your new role

About you

• Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
• National Police Check
• Australian working rights
