Job summary

Engineering Networks Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to oversee planning, installation, commissioning and operational safety across Australia. You will lead a field-centric team, drive safety standards and ensure rapid deployment readiness of critical equipment.

The role requires an electrical trade background with an A Grade Electrical Licence and strong leadership, client liaison and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background with an A Grade Electrical Licence.
• In-depth knowledge of power, diesel generators, BESS/batteries, transformers or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience in service or operational management or leadership in the electrical industry, ideally leading field teams.
• Experience developing SWMS, JSA, SOPs and other safety/environmental procedures.
• Willingness to travel; site travel limited but expected.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to consult with clients on technical issues.
• Honest and reliable in all facets of your work.

Responsibilities

• Initial development and adherence of safety standards and procedures including SWMS, JSA etc.
• Ensure that all equipment is serviced, maintained, verified and available for rapid deployment to customer sites.

• Deliver high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Mentor the technical team to create a high performance culture.

Their main customer base typically exists within the data centre, renewable energy (BESS, batteries & solar), mining and industrial sectors.

Due to a fast start and a full order book, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead the planning, installation, commissioning and operational safety of the business across Australia.

Role:

You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:-

• Planning, installation, commissioning of loadbanks, transformers and other ancilliary equipment on customer sites
• Initial development and adherance of safety standards and procedures including SWMS, JSA etc

To be successful in this role you must have:-

• Electrical Trade background with an A Grade Electrical Licence is manditory
• In depth knowledge of power, diesel generators, BESS/batteries, transformers or heavy industrial environments.
• Previous service or operational management or leadership experience in the electrical industry, ideally leading teams in the field
• Previous experience developing safe work procedures, SWMS, JSA's, SOP's and other safety or environmental procedures
• Be prepared to travel and understand the demands of a commisioning management role. (Site travel is limited but expected from time to time)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to consult to your clients on technical issues
• Honest and reliable in all facets of your work
