Job summary

Busy Bees Bayswater North in Bayswater, VIC invites an experienced Assistant Centre Director to join on a full-time fixed-term maternity cover. You’ll support the Centre Director with daily operations, mentor educators and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for children and families.

Responsibilities include leadership support, staff development, building partnerships with families and the local community, and ensuring compliance with NQF and regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) required.
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or strong desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Collaborative, positive, and supportive leadership style.

We’re seeking an experienced and supportive Assistant Centre Director to join our team at Busy Bees at Bayswater on a full-time, fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will play a key role supporting the Centre Director with daily operations, mentoring educators, and fostering a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children and families.
