Chillflow Solutions Australia Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our operations and technician services division in Sydney, NSW. This full-time leadership role oversees service operations across marine, offshore and industrial HVAC & refrigeration projects, driving performance, client satisfaction and safety compliance.

Strong technical background in HVAC, chillers, and marine refrigeration.
Commercially aware with experience in quoting and margin management.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and manage a team of HVAC service technicians
Oversee scheduling, job allocation, and workflow using Simpro (or similar)
Manage emergency call-outs, preventative maintenance, and project service work
Maintain high service standards, documentation and QA processes
Act as the key point of contact for major clients and service contracts
Monitor KPI's - Profitability, labour utilisation and response times
Oversee quoting, scope reviews, and service related variations
Ensure full compliance with WHS, ARCtick and industry regulations
Drive continuous improvement across systems, reporting and field performance
Analyse refrigeration performance using superheat, subcooling, and other key indicators
Assist in design and installation of temporary chilled water systems
Maintain accurate timesheets & service reports

Chillflow Solutions are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our operations and technician services division in Sydney, NSW.

This is a full-time permanent leadership role responsible for overseeing all service operations across marine, offshore and industrial HVAC & Refrigeration projects. You will drive technician performance, client satisfaction, safety compliance and service probability.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

Who We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading a service team or field operation division
Strong technical background in HVAC, chillers and marine refrigeration
Commercially aware with experience in quoting and margin management
Confident communicator & able to manage Tier 1 clients
Organised, decisive and capable in a fast-paced service environment
Experience with Simpro (or similar) will be highly regarded
Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning or similar (mandatory)
Must be Australian citizen and eligible for AGSVA NV1 Security clearance (mandatory)
Previous experience in a supervisory or service management role
Familiarity with WHS compliance, risk management and contractor safety standards
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Ability to pass an AFP police check
