About the Team

You’ll join a team where people work with integrity, inclusion, innovation, agility, collaboration and commitment. In practice, that means sharing ownership, solving complex problems together and staying connected to the customer context, the purpose behind the work and how each role contributes to meaningful outcomes.

The Opportunity

As the Service Management Lead, you’ll provide service management leadership during capture and help shape an operational model that gives customers confidence in how services will transition, operate and continuously improve.

  • Shape a credible, practical service management model across ITSM, service operations, governance and service delivery.
  • Work across capture and solution development to identify improvements to traditional service delivery approaches, including opportunities to apply AI and automation.
  • Design operating models, governance frameworks and service management processes suited to complex government and enterprise environments.
  • Provide continuity from solution design into delivery, leading service establishment activities and supporting a low-risk transition following contract award.
About You

You’ll bring experience in service management and service operations, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical operating models that can be successfully established and delivered.

Essential
  • Experience in ITSM, service operations and service transformation within complex managed services environments.
  • Knowledge of contemporary service delivery approaches across government and/or enterprise environments.
  • Ability to design practical service operating models, governance frameworks and service management processes aligned to customer outcomes.
  • Experience supporting or leading large-scale service transitions, mobilisation and service establishment activities.
  • Knowledge of how service providers structure and deliver modern managed service outcomes, with the ability to identify meaningful areas of differentiation.
  • Understanding of how AI and automation can be applied to improve service management and operational outcomes.
Advantageous
  • Experience taking a service model from capture and solution design through transition, establishment and ongoing operations.
  • Experience identifying and introducing service innovations, automation or AI-enabled approaches that improve upon traditional service delivery models.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Baseline security clearance as required for the role.

Certain roles may be subject International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements which may limit persons who hold dual nationality with certain proscribed countries from accessing material, or in the case of dual Australian-U.S citizens, may require the candidate to obtain a U.S. Persons Abroad authorisation from the U.S DDTC.
