Job summary

UnitingCare Lifeline Crisis Support on the Sunshine Coast seeks a Service Leader to supervise the Maroochydore service, guiding crisis support staff and volunteers to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You will manage operations, recruit and develop a skilled team, monitor budgets and KPIs, and foster collaboration with stakeholders to improve outcomes for help seekers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Lesser formal qualifications with considerable skills and experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve service performance outcomes.
  • Experience managing operational and administrative functions in community/human services.
  • Ability to manage budgets, reporting requirements and business administration processes.
  • Strong understanding of quality, risk management and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Highly developed communication and relationship-building skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective systems, processes and procedures to support service delivery.
  • Current QLD Driver’s License.
  • Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
  • Willingness to undergo a Personal History Check as part of pre-employment screening.
  • ASIST is desirable.
