Job summary

Wellways in Lyneham, ACT is seeking a Service Lead to oversee the 24/7 ASUSD residential program, delivering safe, participant-centred services across multiple sites. You will provide operational leadership, supervise staff, and ensure performance against funder and organisational requirements.

The role requires a tertiary health/human services qualification or equivalent, proven leadership of teams, strong change and performance management, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in health, human services, social sciences or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading community, health or human services and teams.
• Ability to manage performance and resolve operational issues to achieve outcomes.
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Working with Vulnerable Persons Check and Right to Work in Australia, 100 points of ID.
• NDIS Worker Screening check and NDIS Orientation Module.
• Police Check (last 12 months) and International Police Check (if applicable).

• Monitor service performance against outcomes and implement improvements.
• Undertake reporting as outlined by funder and organisational requirements.

You’ll provide operational leadership, workforce supervision, with accountability for achieving service outcomes, in line with organisational priorities and quality standards. This role will be primarily based across office sites, with regular physical presence required across allocated service locations.This role provides service leadership across the Adult Step Up Step Down (ASUSD) residential program, which operates 24/7 in partnership with Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS)Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:* Leading delivery of allocated services to ensure safe, high-quality and participant-centred outcomes.* Monitor service performance against agreed outcomes and identify and implement improvements where required.
