Job summary

Cabrini Technology Group, Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, seeks a Service Engineer for the Hervey Bay area to diagnose, repair and maintain electro-medical and gas therapy equipment. The role focuses on minimising downtime and meeting Australian Standards.

Required hands-on repair experience, a relevant Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical qualification, and a Queensland electrical licence or eligibility. Salary packaging up to $15,900 and meal & entertainment benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic/electrical equipment required.
• Experience with gas therapy equipment highly regarded; training provided if needed.
• Technical or trade qualification in Electronic, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Current Queensland restricted electrical licence or ability to qualify is essential.
• Strong PC/MS Office literacy and ability to log work into a database promptly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Current non-restricted QLD driver's licence; tools provided.

Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of Cabrini Technology Group, currently has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to join its Queenslandteam, based in the Hervey Bay area. The successful applicant will use his/her skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical and gas therapy equipment.

The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment.

Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic/electrical equipment is mandatory. Experience with gas therapy equipment will be very highly regarded, but training will be provided where necessary.

Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering discipline;

A current Queensland restricted electrical licence or the ability to qualify for one is essential;

Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;

An organised and pro-active approach to work;

The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well, with minimal supervision.

A current non-restricted QLD driver's licence;
