Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has vacancy for a full time service engineer located in Mildura. The successful applicant will use their skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical, mechanical-medical and gas therapy equipment within a local hospital and in the field.
Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
At least 2 yearof previous technical hands-on service experience in the repair and service of Medical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanical equipment;
Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
An organised and pro-active approach to work;
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
