Job summary

Bay Explorers Early Learning – Deception Bay QLD is seeking a capable Director and Nominated Supervisor to lead the service, shaping culture and delivering quality outcomes for children, families and educators. You will partner with Approved Providers and steer performance with authority and professional judgement.

You will manage a skilled team, budgets and rosters, drive educational leadership, and uphold a strict child-safe culture while elevating the service’s profile in the Deception Bay

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Proven experience leading an approved service and a team of educators including managing performance, compliance, operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding and ability to execute expectations of the National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Build trusted relationships with families from first enquiry through to school transition
• Drive educational leadership, quality improvement and National Quality Framework compliance as everyday practice

Role Description

As Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will be accountable for the quality, culture and performance of the Service. You will:

About You

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Proven experience leading an approved service and a team of educators including managing performance, compliance, operations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding and ability to execute expectations of the National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
• Current Blue Card, first aid, CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis training, and completion of the required National Child Safety Training
• A calm, composed and decisive leadership style, with the integrity to hold high standards fairly and the commercial awareness to drive continued success for the busines
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
