Job summary

Bay Explorers Early Learning – Deception Bay QLD is seeking a Diploma-qualified Educator to work directly with children, supporting learning through play, inquiry and connection.

You’ll collaborate with families and a professional team, with opportunities for extensive funded professional development and a supportive leadership team, while enjoying above-award pay and benefits such as retention grants and childcare discounts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACEQA-recognised)
• Minimum two years' ECEC experience with knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Experience in reflective learning and contemporary early childhood practice
• Strong communication with children, families and colleagues

Responsibilities

What you'll bring

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Graduate Diploma/Bachelor qualification recognised by ACECQA

• At least two years' ECEC experience and a confident working knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

• A genuine interest in contemporary early childhood practice and reflective learning

• Warm, confident communication with children, families and colleagues

• The ability to collaborate while also bringing your own ideas, initiative and professional judgement

• Current Blue Card, and required First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Child Safety Geccko qualifications
