Job summary

Southern Cross Gold Operations is seeking motivated Service Crew members to join our underground mining team in Western Australia. The role involves carrying out essential services to support underground production and maintain safe, efficient operations on a 2-week-on, 2-week-off roster with BIBO from Perth or DIDO options.

You will perform ground support and general labouring, housekeeping, and operate light equipment while following strict safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground service crew or mining operations preferred.
• Must have underground mining experience.
• Current WA manual driver's licence.

Barto Gold Mining is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The Southern Cross Gold Operations (SXO) is a producing gold asset situated in Western Australia, located 375km east of Perth, 235km west of Kalgoorlie and 32km south of the town of Southern Cross. The Southern Cross operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, two active Underground mines, one active Open Pit with the annual production of 80k oz. The 5-year plan has a production target of over 500,000 ounces.

This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for future growth. This will be a permanent role on 2-week-on, 2-week-off roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.

We are seeking motivated Service Crew members to join our operations team.

About the role

As a Service Crew member, you will support underground mining operations by carrying out essential services to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. This is a hands-on role suited to reliable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy working as part of a close-knit crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Ground support assistance and general underground labouring

• Demonstrate safe work practices, complying with site safety requirements at all times.

About You

• Previous underground service crew or mining experience preferred
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
• Current manual driver's licence
• Must have Underground mining experience
