Sheppard Mining Contracting in Kalgoorlie-Boulder invites you to join as an Underground Service Crew operator. You’ll work across underground services, ensuring safe, efficient execution and timely problem-solving. A guard of hands-on experience, reliable teamwork and a proactive approach will be valued daily.

Roster is 7/7 or 5/2 with hourly pay between $50 and $55. Strictly Kalgoorlie residential; relocation notes encouraged if not residing locally.

Formación

• Minimum 1–2 years' underground service crew experience.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence, preferably manual.
• Current Working at Heights and ITC tickets, with additional underground qualifications encouraged.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.

Sheppard Mining Contracting is a Goldfields contracting business with big plans for where we're heading, and we're looking for an experienced Underground Service Crew operator to be part of it.

7/7 or 5/2 day shift only roster | $50 - $55 per hour | Work with people who care about doing the job properly

The job

You know underground. You know there are days when everything runs to plan and days when it absolutely doesn't.

That's when experience, communication and having good people around you matter.

You'll be working across underground services, helping keep the operation moving and taking responsibility for getting the job done safely and properly. We're not looking for someone who needs to be followed around or reminded about the standard expected. We want someone who can see what needs doing, gets on with it and is prepared to put their hand up when they need support.

Your work will include:

• Installing and extending air, water, dewatering and ventilation services, including underground pumps and pumping systems.
• Supporting mine development and production activities.
• Operating underground equipment as required while maintaining a safe, productive work area.

To be considered, you'll need:

• A minimum of 1–2 years' underground service crew experience and a current Australian Driver's Licence, preferably manual.
• Current Working at Heights and Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) tickets, with additional underground RPLs highly regarded.
• A strong approach to safety and teamwork, with the ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
