Altrad Brisbane is seeking a Technical Service Coordinator to drive field maintenance coordination for oil, gas, and energy operations. About the opportunity

Based in our Brisbane office, Altrad is seeking a full-time, experienced Technical Service Coordinator to play a key role in coordinating field maintenance and service delivery activities across our oil, gas, and energy operations.

Due to continued growth and exciting new projects, this position is central to ensuring the safe and efficient planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across gas well sites, field service operations, workshops, and customer assets. You will work closely with field crews, clients, operations teams, and subcontractors to ensure maintenance and service activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest technical and commercial standards.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate gas field maintenance and service activities from planning through to completion and close-out
• Schedule and allocate field technicians, equipment, vehicles, tools, and specialist resources across multiple work sites
• Support the execution of preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance programs on oil and gas infrastructure
• Monitor job progress, maintenance schedules, costs, and resource utilisation to ensure operational objectives are achieved
• Liaise with clients, field supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance execution and service delivery
• Raise and manage purchase orders, invoicing, progress claims, and job costing activities
• Support work pack preparation, maintenance planning, shutdowns, turnarounds, and campaign-based field activities
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, maintenance standards, permits, and operational procedures
• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, asset records, and close-out documentation
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and energy industry requirements
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and service excellence

About you

• You're a proactive, technically minded, and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys coordinating complex field activities.
• Proven experience as a Technical Service Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Field Service Coordinator, Planner, Scheduler, or similar role within the oil, gas, energy, or resources sectors
• Strong understanding of gas well operations, field maintenance execution, production support activities, and asset maintenance programs
• Experience coordinating field-based maintenance teams, contractors, and specialist service providers across remote or regional operations
• Demonstrated exposure to oil & gas, energy, LNG, CSG, upstream production, pipeline, compression, or processing facilities highly regarded
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes, work management systems, and asset management principles
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and operational priorities
• Strong commercial awareness with experience tracking costs, job progress, and resource utilisation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Experience using ERP, CMMS, or maintenance management systems such as SAP, Pronto, Maximo, JDE, or similar platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong reporting and data management capability
• Sound understanding of HSEQ requirements, permit-to-work systems, risk management, and critical safety controls
• Ability to work autonomously while supporting a high-performing operational team
