Job summary

Paxus is seeking an IT Service Continuity Specialist to join our Norwest-based, high-performing team. You will govern service continuity across hundreds of critical technology services and ensure testing is planned, governed and completed in line with policy.

This role is not a hands-on disaster recovery position; you will collaborate with application owners and vendors to drive resilience, report readiness, and support governance improvements across a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience governing Service Continuity or Disaster Recovery in a large enterprise.
• Ability to balance governance with stakeholder engagement across tech and business teams.
• Experience with governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Proficient in reporting, data analysis, and compliance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile delivery environments.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Data Studio for reporting.

• Govern Service Continuity testing compliance across multiple technology domains.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure testing activities meet policy and schedules.
• Manage testing risks, compliance issues and remediation activities.
• Review testing readiness, data quality and recovery requirements (RTO/RPO).
• Perform post-test reviews and compliance assessments for applications and SaaS vendors.
• Approve or reject testing activities and change requests based on governance.
• Produce reporting and insights on testing performance and readiness.
• Support continuous improvement of governance processes and ServiceNow enhancements.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced IT Service Continuity Governance Specialist to join a high-performing team responsible for governing Service Continuity compliance across hundreds of critical technology services.

This is not a hands‑on disaster recovery testing role. Instead, you'll be responsible for ensuring testing is planned, governed and completed in line with policy, managing risk, improving compliance and providing trusted advice to stakeholders across the business. You'll work with application owners, technology leaders and vendors to drive service resilience while reporting on readiness across a complex enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Govern Service Continuity testing compliance across multiple technology domains
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure testing activities are completed in line with policy and schedules
• Manage testing risks, compliance issues and remediation activities
• Review testing readiness, data quality and recovery requirements including RTO and RPO compliance
• Perform post-test reviews and compliance assessments for internal applications and SaaS vendors
• Approve or reject testing activities and change requests based on governance requirements
• Produce reporting and insights on testing performance, compliance and organisational readiness
• Support continuous improvement of governance processes and ServiceNow platform enhancements

About You

You'll have experience governing Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery or Technology Risk processes within a large enterprise. You understand how to balance governance with stakeholder engagement and enjoy working across both technical and business teams to improve operational resilience.

You'll Bring Experience In

• IT Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery or Technology Governance
• Governance, compliance and risk management within large enterprise environments
• ServiceNow or similar enterprise workflow platforms
• Stakeholder management across multiple technology teams
• Reporting, data analysis and compliance monitoring
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Data Studio or similar reporting tools
• Jira and Agile delivery environments
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the confidence to engage senior leadership
