Job summary

CHEP Australia is seeking an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead a manufacturing shift in Wodonga, VIC. You will mentor team members, drive safety culture, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

You will manage performance, plan resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and cost efficiency. This role emphasizes collaboration, effective communication, and a proactive, inclusive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment for the shift team.

• Plan and resource effectively to meet production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor operational costs and yield, coordinating with the Plant Manager to optimise performance.
• Address performance and attendance matters with HR and ensure staff meet operational expectations.
