Job summary

Powerhouse Recruitment is recruiting for a Service Advisor at a Ballarat dealership. You will be the face of the service department, guiding customers from drop-off to collection and coordinating with technicians and the parts team to ensure a smooth service journey.

The ideal candidate has a customer-service mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30am–5:30pm, with no Saturday trading.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Advisor or customer service role, automotive experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with dealership software and computer systems.
• Current driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Schedule servicing and prepare repair orders.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service journey.
• Coordinate with technicians and departments for efficient workflow.
• Prepare invoices and service documentation accurately.
• Recommend genuine parts and additional services when appropriate.

About the Role:

As the face of our Service Department, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive an outstanding experience from vehicle drop-off through to collection.

Working closely with our technicians and parts team, you'll coordinate repairs, keep customers informed, and identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services that enhance their ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities:
