Job summary

A leading IT consultancy in Canberra is seeking a Consultant for Talent Acquisition to undertake technical deliverables and implement solutions in Microsoft Server and Citrix environments. This mid-senior level role is contracted for 12 months, with possible extensions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Nutanix.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical deliverables as a senior specialist.
• Provide end-to-end technical solutions.
• Assist with system changes, updates, and upgrades.
• Understand and implement Citrix solutions in a complex environment.
• Provide end to end technical solutions.
• Assist with system changes, updates, upgrades and relocations.
• High level communication skills.
• Ability to analyse and resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems.
• Interface with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server versions up to and including Server 2022 in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a complex Citrix environment.
• Virtualisation technologies including both VMware and Nutanix technologies, design, build, operating and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in teams to produce quality outcomes.
• The ability to translate technical information to those with a non-technical background.

Location of work: Canberra

Length of contract: 12 months

Contract extensions: 24 months extension (two extensions of twelve months each)

Security clearance: Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance
