About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer / Platform Specialist. This is a long-term contract role 12 months with 12 months extension x2, located at our client’s ACT in a hybrid set-up.

Job details
Cyber Security Engineer / Platform Specialist to support critical ICT systems and provide sustainment of Cyber Security infrastructure and platforms. The successful candidate/s will provide technical leadership, insights and support to multiple sections within both Cyber Security, Project, and Operational branches / sections.

The Cyber Sustainment Section support multiple platforms and infrastructure and are looking for candidates with experience in Application Control, Vulnerability Scanning Platform Support, Linux Infrastructure Support, Privileged Access Management and Public Key Infrastructure Certificate Management. The successful candidates will be a key resource within the Cyber Sustainment Section and possess the required specialist knowledge of key Cyber specific tools, systems and processes to ensure delivery of current and upcoming projects.

The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) has been used to inform the requirements. In summary, Client seeks candidate/s with the following relevant skillset:

About the team
The successful candidates will be a key resource within the Cyber Sustainment team and possess the required specialist knowledge of key Cyber specific tools, systems and processes to ensure delivery of current and upcoming projects.

• Essential criteria
  1. Linux/ RHEL/ Redhat Satellite/ IDM/ FA Policy D.
  2. App control / Carbon Black/ WDAC.
  3. Tenable Vulnerability Management, RunZero.
  4. Privilege Access Management (MFA, Delinea Secret Server, EntraID).
  5. Active Directory Certificate Services (PKI).
  6. Microsoft EntraID Cloud Sync.
• Desirable criteria
  1. EntraID Entitlement Management and Lifecycle Management.
  2. Nutanix AOS/AHV + Hybrid AOS/ESXi / Prism Central.
  3. Microsoft Windows Server Platform and Patching Experience.
  4. VMware Virtualisation, Citrix, Powershell Scripting and Ansible and EntraID Automation.
