Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services – Spring Creek QLD is seeking a Sentence Planning Officer to contribute to the day-to-day operations of Sentence Management Services, performing sentence management functions at designated locations, including correctional centres or HUB environments. The role provides administrative and planning support as part of a team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to acquire new knowledge, communicate clearly, solve problems, and plan and organise tasks

The Sentence Planning Officer will contribute to the day-to-day operations of Sentence Management Services performing sentence management functions either in a correctional centre or within a HUB environment at designated locations. This role will provide administrative and planning support, working as part of a team that delivers sentence management services.

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills as well as to deliver outcomes within a structured environment.
• Sound written and oral communication skills and an attention to detail in this regard.

• Working knowledge of office equipment and experience using Microsoft Office and database applications.
