Qualifications

• Experience supervising and leading a team; support Manager in HR processes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and escalate issues.
• Experience in the criminal justice environment or governed systems with rapid learning of laws.
• Maintain governance, oversight systems and quality assurance processes.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to prepare complex reports.
• Staff engagement: coaching, mentoring and handling difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager Sentence Management and supervise staff performance.
• Analyse trends and workloads to ensure adequate resource allocation.
• Contribute to day-to-day operations of the unit and governance oversight.
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, directives, procedures and policies.
