Job summary

IFYS Limited invites applications for a Senior Therapeutic Case Worker at our Maroochydore Youth Crisis Accommodation program. The role supports young people aged 16–25 in a 3-month housing and support framework, with a strong focus on intake, assessments, and case management.

The team is longstanding and values expertise in trauma-informed, client-centered care. The position is permanent part-time with a 52-hour fortnight roster, offering a competitive not-for-profit salary package, salary

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with challenging behaviours or trauma is preferred.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with youth.
• Ability to conduct intake assessments and develop individualised support plans.
• Comfort with rotating roster including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with young people to provide a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Conduct intake assessments for accommodation and support.
• Create individualised support plans to meet needs and goals.
• Help youth develop living skills and community participation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shelter and facilities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
