Job summary

The Youth Justice Advanced Case Manager role with the Victorian Government is a senior position within the Youth Justice Service in Ballarat, responsible for statutory supervision and coordinating services for young people subject to court orders.

You will lead day-to-day case management, develop client service plans, and liaise with courts, mental health services, policy teams and external partners to address offending behaviour, with emphasis on high-risk youth and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the youth justice system and related legislation.
• Knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and applicable policies.
• Advanced skills in case management for people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day statutory supervision and case management for youth with complex needs.
• Holistic client support to improve quality of life and community inclusion.

• Prepare reports, briefs and maintain prescribed registers.
