You will manage complex workplace relations matters from assessment through to resolution, providing high-quality advice and building trusted stakeholder relationships to influence practical, defensible people-management outcomes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated workplace relations experience in a complex, highly unionised organisation.
• Strong knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements and policy.
• Advanced written and verbal communication, consultation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level workplace relations advice and guidance to leaders and employees across diverse environments.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions and staff associations.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, including disputes, grievances and misconduct issues.
• Undertake end-to-end case management, assess risk, develop options and support timely resolution.
• Contribute to organisational reviews, restructures and realignments, including consultation strategies.
• Consult and negotiate with unions, staff associations and other key stakeholders, and prepare clear briefs and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
