Job summary

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is seeking an experienced psychologist to join the People & Culture team on a six-month contract, focusing on the psychological wellbeing of ABC staff across diverse and challenging environments.

Reporting to the Head of Inclusion & Wellbeing, you will lead and deliver workplace wellbeing initiatives, including the Peer Support Program, wellbeing check-ins and specialised training for teams exposed to difficult or distressing work.

Qualifications

• Registered psychologist with workplace mental health focus.
• Experience facilitating group discussions and training.
• Experience in psychological assessment and early intervention.
• Experience managing or improving wellbeing programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellbeing check-ins, early intervention, triage and referrals.
• Lead delivery of Peer Support Program training and ongoing support.
• Develop wellbeing workshops and resilience training for demanding environments.
• Build managers' and employees' capability to respond to mental health concerns.
• Offer specialist advice on trauma, crisis management and support pathways.
