Job summary

Talent Corp seeks an experienced Early Intervention Specialist to join a large Victorian Government organisation in Melbourne. You will lead initiatives focused on workplace injury prevention, mental health and wellbeing, and early return-to-work outcomes.

Reporting to senior stakeholders, you will develop and implement strategies, mentor a small team, and collaborate with WorkCover insurers and external providers to improve employee wellbeing and safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and rolling out early intervention and injury prevention programs.
• Background in Injury Management, OH&S, Organisational Psychology or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian workers compensation and return-to-work practices.
• Proven ability to lead, influence stakeholders and manage complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of early intervention strategies to prevent injuries.
• Drive mental health and psychological injury prevention, and build manager capability.
• Oversee complex injury management and return-to-work matters with WorkCover and providers.
• Develop policies, procedures and programs to improve health outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a small team of three and advise senior stakeholders.
