Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a Senior People Technology Specialist to act as a Workday SME, driving enhancements and governance for a global People Technology ecosystem. You will collaborate with People Operations, Payroll, Recruitment and IT to deliver scalable, user‑friendly solutions and lead testing and training across teams.

You bring 3+ years of Workday experience, expertise in Core HCM and Recruitment, and a proven track record of complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting, configuring and optimising Workday.
• Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM and Recruitment with broader modules.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Workday projects and enhancements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Workday subject matter expert and provide technical leadership.
• Lead design, configuration, delivery and optimisation of Workday enhancements.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Payroll and IT to translate requirements.
• Own solution design, impact assessments, and delivery outcomes for projects.
• Lead testing, test strategy, scenarios and business user testing coordination.
• Manage complex system issues with root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and calculated fields.
• Ensure governance, security and data integrity across the Workday environment.
• Contribute to the People Technology roadmap and identify automation opportunities.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices.
