Job summary

Cognizant in Sydney seeks a Principal Consultant to bridge business and technical teams on complex Workday transformations, implementations, and operations. You will lead design sessions, configure decisions, mentor junior staff, and guide clients through legacy-to-Workday migrations across HCM modules.

The role demands 3–5 years of consulting experience, Workday Studio certification, REST/SOAP skills, and strong communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of consulting experience in ERP projects.
• Proficient in Workday Studio and certification.
• Experience with technical/techno-functional roles on ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of web services (REST/JSON/SOAP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholder levels.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business and technical teams during Workday transformation, implementation and operations.
• Guide client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions.
• Support legacy-to-Workday migrations and data loads; ensure smooth transfers.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in training opportunities.
