Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join the End User Computing team on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role supports Windows 11 endpoints, Intune, and Microsoft 365 in a hybrid work environment, delivering secure and reliable IT services to staff across the Bank.

You will troubleshoot complex hardware, software, OS, and application issues and act as a technical escalation point within a collaborative, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting enterprise Windows desktop environments.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting and administering Windows 11.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
• Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across desktop, laptop and mobile technologies.
• Experience managing device lifecycle activities including provisioning, software deployment and endpoint compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 desktop support for Windows 11 endpoints across the organisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system and application issues.
• Support and administer Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, compliance policies and endpoint configuration.
• Assist with the ongoing management and optimisation of the Bank's modern workplace environment.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and Office applications.
• Ensure endpoint security policies and configurations are maintained in accordance with organisational standards.
• Deploy, configure and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and application teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to operating procedures, technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Maintain a high level of customer engagement and provide exceptional support to end users at all levels of the organisation.
