Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a qualified WHS professional to join a collaborative WHS team. You will provide specialist WHS advice across stores, distribution centres and support offices, drive policy implementation and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and WorkCover requirements.

The role involves leading WHS projects, site visits, incident investigations and reporting, while supporting the team and stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified WHS professional with a minimum Cert IV in WHS and 5+ years’ practical WHS/OHS experience.
• Strong understanding of WHS and WorkCover legislation and its practical application in a multi-site environment.
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities with strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist WHS advice, guidance and support to leaders and team members across the business.
• Implement and continuously improve WHS policies, procedures, systems and initiatives to ensure compliance.
• Manage WHS projects, site visits/inspections, incident investigations, reporting and compliance activities.
• Support incident investigations, audits and training; monitor WHS and WorkCover reporting and statistics.
• Coach the WHS team and build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders.
