Job summary

Tenterfield Shire Council in NSW invites applications for a Senior Projects Engineer Water & Waste. You will lead a team delivering water, wastewater and waste infrastructure projects, providing engineering input into design, delivery, contract management and reporting.

You will work with the Manager Water & Waste and external stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped, delivered on time and within budget, while complying with regulatory standards and fostering a safe, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field is essential.
• Solid experience in public infrastructure or utility services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced team and provide engineering input into project design and delivery, contract management, and reporting.
• Oversee capital works program preparation, asset inspections and reporting.
• Collaborate with Manager Water & Waste and external stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped, delivered on time and in compliance.
