Tenterfield Shire Council invites applications for an experienced Manager Water & Waste. This leadership role oversees water, wastewater and waste services, with responsibility for capital works, maintenance, asset management and compliance. You will manage a team, engage with stakeholders, and drive improvements in a regional context to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading water, wastewater or waste operations.
• Ability to balance immediate service needs with long-term infrastructure priorities.
• Strong decision-making within limited resources and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end service delivery for water, wastewater and waste services.
• Oversee capital works, maintenance, asset management and statutory compliance.
• Manage operating and capital budgets and reporting.
• Develop and mentor staff including succession planning.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and the public.
