Stantec Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer – Water Treatment to lead technical delivery across NSW water projects from Sydney. You will drive process engineering activities for water treatment, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Chemical, Process, environmental or related engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (or progress toward it).
• Water treatment expertise in process engineering.
• Consultancy design experience in a engineering context.
• Asset and delivery knowledge of water/wastewater assets.
• Leadership capability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Strong technical report-writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination with Project Manager to deliver on time, budget and quality.
• Lead and support process and technical engineering activities across planning to detailed design.
• Prepare engineering proposals and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate inputs with colleagues across disciplines and units.
• Ensure outputs meet safety requirements and project scope.
• Contribute to growth of water/wastewater design capability and client relationships.
• Mentor and develop Graduate and Intermediate engineers.
• Support business development through proposals and bid development.
