Job summary

The Right Water Company is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer / Project Manager - Water to join our growing team in Western Australia. You will lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects and provide technical and project leadership across planning, design, and execution.

You will build long-term client relationships, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to business development as part of a broader leadership role within a specialist water consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or related discipline.
• 15+ years' experience in the water sector.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of project delivery.
• A practical and collaborative leadership style.
• Chartered status or equivalent professional recognition would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Provide technical leadership across planning, design and project execution.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and commercial outcomes.
• Lead project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and support future growth opportunities.
• Help shape the future direction of The Right Water Company
