AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a Senior Warehouse Officer to join the Supply Chain team at Tropicana Gold Mine on a FIFO 8/6 roster, flying from Perth or Kalgoorlie. The role reports to the Supply Superintendent and drives efficient warehousing and inventory control on site.

You will supervise staff, manage stock levels, perform regular reconciliations, and provide SAP MM guidance. Operational mining experience and a current WA LR licence are essential.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Officer.
• Operational mining experience essential.
• High standards of housekeeping and security.
• Proven ability to supervise staff.
• Solid SAP knowledge.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Nationally accredited High Risk Forklift licence.
• Current WA LR driver’s licence.
• National Police Clearance.
• Existing permanent work rights in Australia (mandatory).

Responsabilidades

• Act as 2IC to the Supply Superintendent and develop warehousing functions.
• Assist in Health & Safety within the supply section.
• Supervise the Warehouse Officer daily and ensure safe operations.
• Conduct cyclic stocktakes.
• Monitor diesel fuel, grinding media, and reagents; coordinate deliveries.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations; cost-center allocations.
• Maintain warehouse stock at optimal levels.
• Manage issuing and receiving of inventory.
• Provide SAP MM advice and training to site users.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Engage with offsite service providers for timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory system data accuracy.
• Maintain general warehouse housekeeping.

About the Role

• Act as 2IC to the Supply Superintendent, assisting in the oversight and development of warehousing functions to achieve industry best practices.
• Assist in the management of Health & Safety within the supply section.
• Supervise the Warehouse Officer on a daily basis to ensure safe and productive operations, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. Provide support and perform their duties as required.
• Conduct cyclic stocktakes.
• Monitor diesel fuel, grinding media, and reagent levels daily to prevent stock outages; coordinate delivery schedules and liaise with suppliers as required.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of diesel, reagents, and grinding media; allocate usage to the appropriate cost centers.
• Maintain warehouse stock at optimal levels.
• Manage the issuing and receiving of inventory.
• Provide SAP MM advice and training to site users.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Consult and work closely with offsite specialist service providers to ensure cost-effective and timely supply delivery.
• Manage the inventory system to ensure high levels of data accuracy.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse.
