Job summary

Sydney Trains in Auburn, NSW is seeking a Senior Warehouse Administrator to provide essential support to the warehouse operations, manage stock records in SAP, and coordinate logistics for rolling stock maintenance.

You will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, ensure accurate records of inventory and transactions, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements while using SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.

In this role, you'll:

You will be a part of the Supply chain function within the Engineering and Maintenance team. In this role, you'll play an essential role in providing essential, timely, and efficient support to our warehouse operations team through day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to‑date records of inventory, invoices, shipments, and transactions. You will be managing maintenance stock inventory for our crucial rolling stock maintenance, processing requests through SAP, and ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of supplies. From managing stock records to coordinating logistics, your organisational skills will be the backbone of our operations. As a Senior Warehouse Administrator, you will have a good understanding of the dispatching and receiving of orders and the ability to effectively support the Warehouse Operations. You are responsible for the filing system for all logistic documentation and records for the team ensuring compliance with all record keeping requirements in SAP. You would be liaising with internal and external stakeholders, communicating any delays on orders, risk assessment and contingency plans. You would collaborate with warehouse staff and external partners to streamline processes.
