Job summary

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to provide authoritative support across procurement processes and systems in the Victorian public sector. You will advise stakeholders, monitor supplier performance, respond to enquiries and ensure adherence to policies and guidelines while liaising with contract managers and procurement contacts.

Flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements; fixed-term until 28 January 2028;

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Victorian Public Sector procurement practices and procedures is required.
• Proficiency in the use of Zycus and Oracle systems or other finance and procurement applications used in government will be viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative support and advice to stakeholders across procurement processes and systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and contract managers across the department.
• Respond to enquiries and monitor supplier performance to mitigate procurement breaches.
• Provide advice to ensure compliance with Victorian government procurement policies and guidelines.
