Greencross Caloundra is seeking an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse to lead the nursing team, champion clinical excellence, and sustain a supportive workplace. The role focuses on leadership from the front, hands-on nursing, and ongoing staff development within a busy Sunshine Coast clinic.

The successful candidate will drive fear-free handling, patient advocacy, and high clinical standards while collaborating with veterinarians and the Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
• Leadership, mentoring or team leadership experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor and support the Veterinary Nursing team
• Manage onboarding, training and development for staff
• Oversee daily nursing operations and workflow optimization
• Provide high standards in surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
• Support client communication and compassionate patient care
