As an early member of the team, you will have a unique opportunity to grow into a leadership position.

What you will do:
  • Lead or contribute to valuation engagements across business, equity, IP and other intangible assets
  • Conduct financial and industry analysis to assess value and support engagement findings
  • Build and review valuation models, including DCF, comparable transactions, and other accepted techniques
  • Prepare clear, defensible valuation reports and expert evidence
  • Interpret and present complex quantitative and qualitative data clearly and concisely
  • Maintain and improve internal models, templates and valuation tools
  • Support internal quality assurance and data validation processes
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
What you will need:
  • At least 4 years’ experience in valuation, ideally in professional services or a specialist valuation firm
  • Deep experience with purchase price allocations and impairment testing
  • Exposure to dispute or litigation contexts (preferred but not essential)
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • CA/CPA or CFA designation (or progress toward one) preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication and report-writing capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative, while also seeking input when needed
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
What you will get:
  • Hourly rates between $100-200 ph depending on experience
  • Flexibility location: work remotely from anywhere in Australia, from an office, or both
  • A genuinely flexible schedule that supports work-life balance
  • Opportunities for paid volunteer work to contribute to meaningful causes
  • Paid professional development courses and educational opportunities
  • Participation in performance-based recognition and bonus programs.
